Aaron Eugene Michaelian

Aaron Eugene Michaelian was born on September 3rd, 1966 in Lampasas, Texas. From humble beginnings came a Godly man, a devoted Army Ranger, and a loving family man. On August 30th, 2020, Aaron was reunited with the Lord. He passed while doing what he loved—being outdoors on an adventure with his family.

In his 53 years, Aaron passionately forged his own path and lived numerous lifetimes in one. He was known for his vibrant spirit, his contagious laughter and his unshakable faith. He constantly sought any opportunity to better himself, turning strangers into friends, serving unconditionally, and he never passed up the chance to make a potty joke.

Early in his life walk, he was bitten by the military bug and joined the Army, which shaped him into the disciplined person he became. Aaron was part of the Second 75th Ranger Battalion, and then 1/325 AIR, he proudly served his country all over the world. He was an American hero and patriotic to the core, injured in service to his country.

Throughout his life, Aaron sensed the importance of education and devoted himself to continuing his education throughout his life. He received his bachelor degree at Boston University and earned his masters degree at Columbia University in New York.

His latest passion was skydiving, flying high in nothing but blue skies. He loved watching novellas with his wife while expanding his growing Spanish vocabulary. He was a huge fan of the following sports teams: the Boston Bruins, the Patriots, and the Texas Longhorns.

Aaron always said that he “forgave professionally” and was a strong advocate that it was never too late for someone to turn their life around and be a better individual.

Most importantly, Aaron was a devoted and loving spouse, father, son, brother, soldier, uncle, and friend. His most precious role was as a spouse to Patty and a devoted father to his beloved son Teagan, daughter Tina, and a doggie dad to Blaze. Together, they enjoyed the outdoors, took endless trips, and embraced anything that involved smiling together.

Aaron is survived by his family, his Army family, his Skydiving family, his ‘adopted’ children, and the many other numerous families, friends, and neighbors around the globe. He is predeceased by his father-in-law from Colombia, his uncle Bill, one of his best friends Mark, and his cherished dog, Sadie, who no doubt has greeted him in heaven as she did in life.

Although we are all heartbroken by this devastating loss, we take comfort in knowing that Aaron is reunited with Jesus and is smiling down on us from above. Aaron’s lasting legacy will forever live in all the hearts that he touched, the echoing laughter that he created, and the memories that are so deeply etched into our hearts and lives. Rest in Peace Aaron, We Love You.

In his own words, Aaron believed at his funeral, people would speak of him as man who was “kind, organized, loud and boisterous, donated (his) time and money, could think outside the box, cleaned up righteously and lived in a way God would approve, a hard worker, liked to dress well, humbled, and was a dedicated father in heart, mind, and soul”. He lived up to those descriptions and surpassed his goals of what would be said of him after he passed.

In a note of Aaron’s, he shared that he had a fear of dying alone, but was comforted by the fact that “Christ died with very few people around him that loved him. I am not any better. For when I pass, My Lord will be at my side.”
