Albert Chemay

Albert Chemay entered into rest on April 22, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Chemay graduated from LSU where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music. After serving his country proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corps, he spent his life teaching music to the students of his hometown of Hammond, Louisiana, Livingston Parish Schools and Del Rio, Texas. Mr. Chemay is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Chemay, parents Louis and Jennie Chemay, brothers Louis and Frank Chemay and his son in law, Ralph Gaude. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Cheryl Gaude, Sylvia Browne, David Browne, Cathy Browne, Alyssa Browne and Michael Browne. A private memorial service will take place in San Antonio at a later date.
