Albert Merritt, Sr.

Albert Merritt Sr., born September 26, 1939 passed from this life on June 19, 2018 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Annie Merritt and brother Leon Merritt; Albert is survived by his son Albert Merritt Jr. and his wife, Linda; daughters Debra Holly and her husband Terrance, and Laura Merritt; brother Levi Merritt and his wife Mary Katherine and their children, Elaine and Jason; grandchildren, Timiko Merritt, Ausha Merritt, Shenika Merritt, Lakia Lopez, Trayshon Holly, and Tara Holly; great-grandchildren, Jayln, Taylor, Makayla, Tyrak, Princeseanna, Shaunty, Lanice, Amorian, Lania.; and his ex-wife Dimple Merritt. Mr. Merritt, who was called "The Round Man" by his closest friends, he worked well with his hands, he owned a detail shop, he worked HVAC, made jewelry, was an accomplished handy man, and excelled at fishing. He will be dearly missed.
