Ted Heyle was born on December 30, 1945 in Columbia, Missouri and lived in San Antonio until losing his courageous battle with cancer on March 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia A. Heyle; step-daughter: Danielle; mother, Virginia P. Heyle; father Allen Theodore Heyle, Sr. and his wife Wanda, his sister, Carolyn Townsend and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gordon E. Heyle and Robert A. Heyle. He served his country in Vietnam and received several medals of honor. Ted was faithful to his country, friends and family. He was uniquely private in his life, although he had many friends in his personal and business life. He was admirable for his dignity and his great character. He loved the simple things of life – being outdoors, fishing, golfing and socializing with his friends, while enjoying great cuisine.
