Alma Heugel

 Alma Heugel, born on February 1, 1980, in San Antonio, left this world unexpectedly on April 23, 2024. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Alma's love for her family was palpable, shadowed only by her love for God. She adored the cinema, she was a dedicated movie buff who found joy and comfort in the world of films. Her passion for stories and characters enriched her life and those around her. 

The services to honor Alma's memory will be held on May 2, 2024, starting with a Visitation at 11:00 AM followed by a church service both at  12:30 PM at Lackland Baptist Church located at 2718 Frontier Drive, San Antonio, TX 78227. The final farewell will take place at San Fernando Cemetery No. III on 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78226 starting at 2:30 PM.

In the wake of Alma's departure, she is survived by her husband Jonathan Heugel; brothers Ciro Villaseñor(Viri), Ciro Lean III, Ivan Villaseñor; and sisters Maria Escarzaga (Martio) and Krystal Brock (Brandon). She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Jesse, Ethan, Mia, Michael, Alyssa, Marissa, Abigail, Nathan, Jasmine, Josiah, Lilly, Jeramiah; and Layla - all of whom were dear to her heart.

Alma's love and her big heart will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved and cherished by many.
