Loving husband and father, Alvin Elwood Juniper, gained his wings on September 18, 2022, in San Antonio, TX.
Al is survived by his loving wife of over fifty-three years Helen Juniper of San Antonio; son, Patrick Juniper of San Antonio;
Daughters, Pamela Juniper and Evelyn Juniper of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, Chad Juniper, Matheson Wilson, Caitlin Wilson, and Gabriel Mendoza.
Al is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Juniper, his mother Oma Juniper, and his sister Lucille Dirk of Painesville Township.
Born August 22, 1947, in Painesville, Ohio.
Al served his country during the Vietnam War in the 9th infantry division as a combat medic from 1966 to 1967.
He met his soulmate at the USO in San Antonio prior to leaving for Vietnam. After returning from war, he married the love of his life, and his wife married her prince. They made home in San Antonio after his discharge from the army in 1974.
He worked for the Express News and as a security officer for many years before retiring in 2013.
Al always supported his family and put them first, his children will miss him always. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his dogs (Randy and Riley), and attending church with his wife. He loved collecting clocks and going to casinos with friends and family.
