Amanda "Kate" Ross

Amanda Kate Ross, “Kate”, born on November 24, 1969 in Houston, Texas was called to be with the Lord on July 26, 2023 at her home in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 53. Kate graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education.

She spent most of her career in finance where she worked for Citibank, USAA, and GMfinancial.

Kate was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was full of joy and laughter until the end. Kate never met a stranger, only made new friends. She was fiercely loyal, tenderhearted and incredibly strong! She cared deeply for people in all areas of her life.

Kate loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her dog Lola, her family, traveling, tubing, singing, dancing, turquoise jewelry, anything sparkly, colorful, and of course the San Antonio Spurs!

She leaves a legacy of love and compassion for those of us with the privilege of knowing her.
