Amelia Galaviz Rocha

Amelia Galaviz Rocha was called by the dear Lord on Thursday March 21, 2019, in Live Oak, TX. She passed at the age of 86. Amelia was born to Jose and Refugia Galaviz. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her 10 children, her other achievement on earth was the 36 plus years she dedicated to working as an independent insurance agent. Family and friends often described Amelia as a loving, funny, feisty, strong willed, independent and hardworking individual.
Amelia is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jose and Refugia Galaviz, her loving son and daughters: Joseph Patrick Rocha, Silvia Ann Pecina, and Martha Pecina as well as her loving siblings, Robert Galaviz and Ernest Galaviz.
She is survived by her loving children: Debra Ann Mirich (Michael), Virginia Pecina, Viola Hilda Morris (Patrick), Betty C. Bonnet (David), Sylvia J. Davila, Norma G. Pecina, and Robert David Pecina (Ruth) and her loving siblings: Rose Meade (Charles), Mary Alfaro, Margaret Garcia (Thomas), and Tony Galaviz (Mary).
Amelia is also survived by her 10 loving grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and cousins.
Amelia will be dearly missed and always loved.
