Amparo Quijano passed away on March 21, 2012 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sixto and Quintina Pesante and her daughter, Casilda Castellon. She is survived by her sons, Miguel Castellon, Antonio, and Ivan Quijano; Daughter, Zwinda Quijano; brother, Sixto Pesante; sister, Lydia Pesante; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family has chosen a private service.
