Andrew E. Tenorio

Andrew E. Tenorio, age 66, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. Born December 13, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Edgewood High School, and attended San Antonio College. From the age of 14, he grew to love floral design. For the next 50 years, he became well known within the floral industry, receiving numerous floral awards including achieving his FTD Master Florist Award. 

Andrew's parents, Henry and Maria Tenorio predeceased him, as well as his brothers, Frank Estrada Jr. and Louis Estrada; and his sisters, Barbara Estrada Elliott and Mary Alice Estrada Chapa.

Andrew is survived by his aunt, Edith Estrada; wife, Pat Simmons-Tenorio; step-son, Steve (Charlene) Simmons; and his beloved grandchildren, Saralyn, Leah, and Aiden Simmons. He is also survived by his brothers, Henry (Bertha) Tenorio, Roy (Yolanda) Tenorio, and Robert (Dora) Estrada; sisters, Noelia Tenorio Agueros, Sylvia Estrada Gates, Emma Estrada Tynes, Alma Estrada, and Darlene Estrada Buruato; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and floral friends all over the world. 

He loved each and every one of you.

Private funeral arrangements are pending, with a Celebration of Life planned for sometime in July.
