Andrew was born July 22, 1983 in Tulia, Texas and passed away November 6, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.
Andrew grew up on the family farm just outside of Tulia, with his parents, 5 siblings, paternal grandmother, and aunt Ventura. The importance of family, values of kindness and caring and the friendship and spirit of the Texas Panhandle shaped him into the wonderful son and brother that he was throughout his life.
These are just a few of the many things he accomplished. State Qualifier 4X400 Relay Team Tulia H.S. (2000). Grand Champion Steer Exhibitor-Swisher County Stock Show (2001). Guided team to Walnut Bowl XII victory, ensuring all team members made it into end zone (2001). Groomsman to Israel Ramos for the wedding of Israel and Jennifer Ramos (2004). Graduated with Bachelor’s of Agricultural Economics Texas A&M University (Class of 2006). Ran with the Bulls in the Festival of San Fermin-Pamplona, Spain (2008). “Best Man” to Ryan Maney for the wedding of Ryan and Monica Maney (2009). Ran and completed Bryan-College Station Marathon (2010). “Best Man” to Nicholas Ramos for the wedding of Nicholas and Jamie Ramos (2014). Ran and Completed Baltimore Marathon (2016). Avid Texas A&M Aggie Football fan. Ardent winter hunter of North American Canadian geese on the South Plains of Texas and fishing with his brother Israel on lakes and ponds of Bexar County. Dedicated laborer in the arts and fields of landscaping at the Baltimore Zoo, Houston Zoo, and San Antonio Botanical Gardens.
Devoted and caring son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, teammate, and chiefly friend. He is preceded on his journey by his grandparents Emigdio & Jauna Ramos, and Virginia Huseman. Andrew is survived by his parents Becky & Jesse Ramos, his grandfather Louis Huseman, his brothers and sisters and their families: Israel & Jennifer Ramos, Ella Ramos, Sophia Ramos; Zachary Ramos, Riley Ramos, Madison Ramos, Sean Ramos, Jaxon Ramos; Nicholas & Jamie Ramos, Allison Ramos, Peter Ramos, Michael Ramos; Ryan & Monica Maney, Sierra Maney, Cora Maney, Ruby Maney; Adam Ramos; Eric Diaz; Carl Huseman; Henning Schmidt; Aaron Teafatiller;& Robert Mattice. Also survived by many, many Aunts and Uncles and even more Cousins.

The family has planned a funeral mass to commemorate Andrew on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church (605 38th Street, Canyon. TX 79015).
