Angelica (Kiro, Kiko, Gigi) Flores went to be in the arms of her heavenly father on December 19, 2024. She was a loving wife to Lazaro (Honey Larry) Flores. A devoted mother to Danny, Nancy and Felicia. She loved her family, her profession as a hair stylist and her country.
Angelica was born to Dario and Elodia Aguilar in San Antonio, Texas, and blessed to be one of seven children.
Preceded in death by her cherished husband Lazaro Flores (Korean War U.S. Veteran); parents Elodia and Dario Aguilar (WWI U.S. Veteran); brothers Dario Aguilar (U.S. Veteran), Anselmo Aguilar (U.S. Veteran) & Mariano Aguilar (U.S. Veteran); and sister Beatrice A. Robles.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory forward. Her son Danny (MJ) Munoz (Vietnam War U.S. Veteran), her daughters Nancy Munoz and Felicia Falcon; her sister Margie Parsons and brother Richard Aguilar (Vietnam War U.S. Veteran); grandchildren Stefan Munoz, Zakary Falcon, Sky Falcon, Ariana Rivera and Alexandra Rivera; great-grandchildren Hadley and Lennon Handt. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and cherished family members and friends.
Angelica (or Angie, as her friends affectionately called her) was a woman ahead of her times, a force of nature. She enjoyed her professional career as a talented hair stylist, she enthusiastically cheered on the New York Yankees and enjoyed telling a good joke. She will be remembered as a trailblazer for the remarkable life she made for herself and her family and for the way she loved life: “Let the good times roll.”
The family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers and support they have received. Angelica lived her life by the Ten Commandments, by her own guiding star and was also a great dancer. In her memory, we encourage you to enjoy life, laugh loud and often, love hard. She often said good-bye saying “love you, love you” because saying one “love you” was not enough.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Angelica Flores’s name to the Boys & Girls Club of America or Parkinson’s Disease Research.
