Annie Bruce Babb

Annie Bruce Babb was born July 27, 1915 in Frederick, OK to parents Annie Lou Murray and Alexander Henderson and died July 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Crawford D. Babb and her son, Gerald R. Babb. She is survived by 3 grandchildren: Lindsey Frazier, Fort Worth, Ashley Fiore, Mountain View, CA and Preston Babb, Austin and great-grandchildren, Wesley Frazier, Kyle Frazier, and Lauren Fiore. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces. She graduated from McMurry University, Abilene, Texas in 1935 and taught school for 31 years, mainly in Laredo, Texas. Annie Bruce led groups of students in competitive drama and speech. The yearbook of her final year of teaching was dedicated to her. She attended Windcrest Methodist Church, was a member of the DAR and resided in San Antonio for over 35 years. A memorial service will be held July 31, 2012 at Morningside Manor Chapel, 602 Babcock Rd. at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Covenant Fund, Morningside Ministries, 210-734-1000.
