Ariel Valero Medrano

Ariel V. Medrano Sr., born January 9, 1929, passed from this life on September 1, 2014 at the age of 85. He is preceded in death by his wife Marion Hornaday-Medrano; son, Ariel Medrano Jr.; and his partner who passed away in 2007, Paul Smith. Mr. Medrano is survived by sons, Rodrigo Medrano, Reynaldo Medrano, Ricardo Medrano, and Miguel Medrano; daughters, Andrea Medrano-Gogun, and Marizella Medrano-Boyd; sister, Dora Arguello; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Ariel enjoyed shopping, dancing, and loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church for over 50 years, where he was a 4th degree Knight of Colombus, and a member of the ACTS community.
