Armando Garcia Salazar Sr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Armando Garcia Salazar Sr., who departed this life in San Antonio, Texas, on January 14, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born on July 16, 1964, in San Antonio. He is joined in heaven with his parents, Emma and Frank Salazar, and brothers Frank and Abel Salazar. He is survived by his two sons, Armando Jr. and Angel Salazar, brothers Richard, Robert, Gilbert (Jeneace), sisters Sylvia (Danny) Uribe, Anita (Richard) Castillo, Yolanda (Tom) Perez, Mary Alice Salazar (Joe), Dolores (Gustavo) Pena, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Armando was a cheerful happy-go-lucky guy with a big heart who was always willing to lend a helping hand when possible. Armando enjoyed cooking and keeping up with his teams, the New York Yankees and San Antonio Spurs. He loved classic cars, listening to oldies, and being around family and friends.

A mass in memory of Armando will be held at Our Lady of the Angels, located at 1214 Stonewall St, San Antonio, Texas, on February 7th at 10AM.
