Arturo Deleon
March 14, 1944 — December 18, 2016
Arturo De Leon passed away on December 18, 2016 at the age of 72. Arturo was born in Mission, Texas to Baltazar and Maria De Leon on March 14, 1944. He graduated from Mission High School. He married Juanita Barrera on December 22, 1970 in San Juan, Texas. He served in the Army where he learned to cook and everyone knew his Spaghetti and Pizza Burgers. He had a lot of love for everyone, but his pride and joy were his children.
He is survived by his wife: Juanita B. DeLeon; sons: Arturo J. and wife Norma De Leon, Daniel D. De Leon, Sarah and husband Shane Roddy, Martha De Leon, Rebecca De Leon; sister: Alicia Mendiola; brothers: Baltazar De Leon, Jr, Arnaldo De Leon, Hipolito De Leon. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren: Thomas De Leon and Rocky De Leon.
The De Leon family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Baptist Medical Center Downtown.
