Richard and Robin gave birth to their son Benton Whitaker in 1981 and after
a brief teaching career she took on the full time job of Mom and homemaker.
Robin was a source of love and inspiration for many. She was very active in

creative person she loved the arts and especially enjoyed discovering
antiques.

Preceded in death by both of her parents Bill and Ruth she is survived by
her husband of 42 years, Richard Whitaker; son, Benton Whitaker; brother
Bill Powlesson and his wife Harriet; her nephews, Chris Powlesson and Ray
Powlesson; and the countless others whom she would always preface their
names with "My Friend". In respect to her wishes and religious conviction
there will not be any formal service. There will be a gathering of friends
and family in her honor. Please contact 512-971-1428 and leave a message
for more information. If anyone wishes to make a contribution to Robin's
