Barbara W. Templeton

Barbara Wilson Templeton, beloved mother and wife went to be with the LORD on Wednesday, Aug 24th, 2022 at the age of 80. She was born August 23,1942 to Robert and Catherine Wilson in Staten Island, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Wilson and sister, Miriam Rasmussen.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Templeton, daughter, Heather Ann Templeton, Dausin Ramirez, niece, Karen Schorlemer and great-nephew, George Rasmussen as well as numerous friends and other family members.

Barbara graduated highschool from Notre Dame Academy in 1960, college at Notre Dame in 1964 and then received a masters degree from Newark State University in 1966 and after which taught special education for over 40 years.

Barbara was a devout Catholic who spent her life thinking about others. She loved Classic Country, Broadway musicals, dancing traveling and spending time with family and friends.

She will always be remembered as a loving, compassionate, and kind person. She was an angel to all who knew her and she will be missed by her family and friends.

The Funeral Service, Viewing and Rosary will be held on Thursday September 8th.

The Burial will take place on Friday @9:30, September 9th at Fort Sam Houston (Lot 4)

Following the burial everyone is invited to join us for a Celebration of Life brunch at NACO 210 Eatery (Where the old Los Patios was)
