Betty Lou Cleaver, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 19, 2023, in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Born on December 9, 1931, in San Antonio, Betty lived a life filled with love and cherished moments.
Betty will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a pillar of strength and support to all who knew her. Her kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of many. Betty's legacy lies in the memories she created with her loved ones.
In addition to being a devoted wife to her late husband Joseph Bradford Cleaver III, Betty was also preceded in death by her daughter Bernice Elaine Boggs, and Great Granddaughter Allison Allen Boggs.
Outside of her family and church involvement, Betty had a passion for antiquing. She possessed an impeccable eye for unique treasures that she cherished dearly. Betty's love for discovering hidden gems contributed to the joyous moments she shared with those around her.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Betty Lou Cleaver on September 29th at Good News Lutheran Church located at 11020 Old Corpus Christi Highway in San Antonio, Texas. The service will start at 10:00 AM, with family and friends gathering to share memories and offer support from 11:00 AM onwards.
Betty's love and warmth will continue to be felt by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will be carried on by her surviving family and friends. Pamela Monteith (David), her daughter, David Boggs (Kimberlie) and Daniel Boggs (Melissa), her grandsons, along with Tiffany Bosanko (Brian), Brittany Covington (Jeff), her granddaughters, they will honor her memory with grace and strength. Alongside them are Betty's great-grandchildren Matthew, Raygan, Drew, Audrey, Mackenzie, Jillian, Jaxon, Xain, Paige, and Great Great Grandchildren, Natalie, C.J. Betty's spirit lives on through each of them.
As we say our final goodbyes to Betty Lou Cleaver, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives. In honoring her memory, let's strive to carry on her legacy of love and kindness in our own lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to Good News Lutheran Church.
