Beverly Jean Judson White

August 22, 1931 — February 6, 2025

Beverly Jean Judson White, a cherished soul and beloved community member, passed away

peacefully on February 6, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She spent her younger years in San Antonio, TX and lived in Bradford, PA for many years where she developed many friendships and was very involved in the community. She was a lifelong part-time resident of Rockport, TX which was one of her favorite places to be. She was fortunate to live there full time in her later years. Born on August 22, 1931, in San Antonio, TX Beverly dedicated her life to family, education and the arts, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.


With a degree in Art from the University of Texas at Austin, Beverly's passion for creativity flourished in all aspects of her life, as she served as a school counselor and and as a docent at the McNay Art Museum. In addition to her love for art, she also was dedicated to nurturing young minds, guiding countless students not just through their academic journeys, but also helping them discover their own paths. Her presence illuminated the lives of those around her, as she crafted a safe haven of understanding and acceptance for students from all walks of life. Beverly brought this same aura to all those around her, in all things she did in life.


Beverly was also deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, and was a member of St. Monica's Guild. Her spiritual commitment was a cornerstone of her character, and she embodied compassion and

kindness in all her endeavors. She cherished her close-knit community, finding joy in the simple act of giving back, and enjoying traditions and holidays with family and friends.


Beverly is survived by her beloved daughter, Anne L. White Flores, and her nephew and niece, Dan Judson and Ellie Judson, and niece Kate Judson. Together, they hold dear the memories of her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support.


Beverly was preceded in death by her cherished husbands, Robert E. White M.D., and L. Jerry

Spengler, two guiding lights in her life. She is also reunited in spirit with her brother, Jack Judson Jr., and her beloved parents, Jack Judson and Hildegarde Lamm Judson, who shaped her into the remarkable woman that she was.


A graveside service will be held on February 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mission Lockehill Cemetery, 10625 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240. This celebration of her life is an opportunity for friends and family to gather and honor her life. Her radiant spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to embrace creativity, nurture others, and live our lives with happiness and purpose.
