Brian Robert Koob

Brian Robert Koob; Brian R. Koob, 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1951 to Henry and Betty (Conner) Koob. Brian graduated from South Mecklenburg High School, Charlotte, NC in 1969. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant after over 21 years of service. Following his retirement from military service he lived in the San Antonio area and worked in the computer industry throughout his business career. At the time of his death, he owned the computer business, Computer Man. Mr. Koob is survived by; daughter, Crystal (Jeff) Schierkolk of Highlands Ranch, Co; mother, Betty Koob of Charlotte NC; brother, Stephen (Carol) Koob of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Karen (Patrick) O’Connor and sister, Cheryl Koob of Greensboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Kevin Lee Koob. Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial will take place in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
