Brigette Theresa Bertrand

Brigette Theresa Bertrand, 62, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Brigette was born in Victoria, Texas on December 14, 1961 to Jean Bertrand and Carolyn Ann Bertrand. Her dad's military career took the family to homes in Altus, Oklahoma, Port O'Connor, TX, Schertz, TX and San Antonio, TX. Brigette was raised by her loving mother and grew up with her two sisters and her brother. When she was 16, she went to live with her father. She graduated from Holmes High School in 1980. While in high school she learned shorthand and honed her typing and organizational skills. After graduation. She put these skills to use. Brigette served as an office manager for many companies throughout the years. 

Brigette lived most of her adult life in San Antonio. Although, she did live in the Austin area for a few years. Wherever she went, Brigette made friends. She was a supportive soul and would do whatever she could to help a friend in need. In her spare time she enjoyed watching crime shows, visiting with friends and loving on her cats. She was a spirited person who liked things organized. Brigette always tried her best to look her best! She loved all things shimmery. Her shoe collection was out of this world. Brigette loved to dress up and, even when she was running late, her “car make-up” was always on point.

Brigette is survived by her sisters Gina Martin and Diane Cullen (Daniel Cullen), her nieces Taylor Martin (Zane Williams), Heather Cullen, Audrey Cullen and Kayla Bertrand, her nephews Kenneth Bertrand, Kyle Bertrand, and Kristopher Bertrand, her partner Barry Stowers, her stepchildren Tiffany Holt Mason (Eric Mason) and their sons Connor and Evan and Wesley Holt, as well as her many cousins and friends. 

Brigette was preceded in death by her parents Carolyn Ann Bertrand and Jean Bertrand, her brother Ray Bertrand, and her husband Gary Holt.

• Services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 
• Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church
• 16075 N. Evans Rd
• Selma, TX 78154
• Visitation, 9:45 am
• Mass, 11am
• Reception to follow Mass in the Pastoral Center.
• Burial will take place at Garden of Memories in El Campo at 4pm.
