Carmen Espinoza Montoya, 80 years old, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 13, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Jose Espinoza and Josephine Espinoza. Carmen worked in the dietary department at Southwest General Hospital, where she retired after 34 years. She loved her coworkers and even asked for them up until her final weeks. Carmen is survived by her sisters, Delia Ramos, Petra Gonzales, Sylvia Trevino, and Josie Rodriguez; her children Elizabeth Rodriguez Velasquez, Esequiel Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Mary Sotelo, and Robert Montoya; and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Montoya; her parents Jose and Josephine Espinoza, brother, Joe Jr, Salvador, and Luis.
