Carmen Villa Balog born October 10, 1927 in Karnes City, Texas passed from this life on October 31, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She is now reunited with her first husband, Narciso S. Puente, Sr. and her second husband, Rudolph Balog; also her son, Narciso Puente, Jr., her parents, Jesus and Estella Villa; her sister, Margarita Robinson; and her brothers, John Villa and Michael Anderson. Mrs. Balog is survived by her son, Richard Puente; her daughter, Margarita (Paul) Cazares; her sister, Bernice Ramos; her brother, Eloy Villa; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Carmen was a Guadalupana at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
