Catherine (Kitty Lou) Horlen

Catherine (Kitty Lou) Horlen born October 17, 1937 passed from this life on September 3, 2012 at the age 74. She is preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Edward Zinsmeister. She is survived by her daughter Melinda Horlen Schoenfeld; son Jeff Horlen (Barbara); grandson Phillip Schoenfeld (Courtney); great-grandson Forrest Schoenfeld; father of her children, Joel Horlen; sisters Helen Dugosh (Kenneth) of Boerne, Edna Geckler (Chris) of San Antonio, Carol Canion (Mike) of Utopia; brothers Eddie Zinsmeister (Sandi) of McAllen, Rudy Zinsmeister (Trish) of Granbury, and Michael Zinsmeister (Maria) of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special Mention to Kitty’s former bosses Dr. Carey Britt, Dr. Patrick Edwards; her former co-workers and her many loving patients, friends, the 1955 Classmates of St. Gerard’s High School, Delmar College School of Nursing class of 1958.
