Celia Lydia Soza

Celia Lydia Soza, born April 6, 2014 in Roma, Texas passed from this life on May 8, 2014 at the age of 75. She is preceded in death by her brother Esteban Montoya Jr. Mrs. Soza is survived by her husband Santos Soza; daughter Laura Escobar (David); sisters Elida Soza (Israel), Margarita Moreno (Reynaldo); grandchildren, Jonathan David Escobar, Nicholas Scott Escobar, Brittany Nicole Escobar, and Emily Elizabeth Escobar. Celia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Soza was the driving force behind the charitable work that was done by her husband’s band, Santos Soza y sus Estrellas. Celia, and Santos, along with Margie Cardenas who was president of the fan club, helped to raise money to supply underprivileged kids with school supplies and Christmas gifts. Mrs. Soza has left behind a legacy of giving and will be greatly missed. Services are pending.
