Charles E. Schmidt

Charles Edward Schmidt (known as Charlie) went home to be with the Lord May 28,2020. At the age of 84. He was born July 27,1935 in Seguin,Texas.

He served in the military for 25 years. He also worked civil service for 20 years at Randolph Air Force Base. He was hard working and always provided for his family. He was frequently at church as usher to help out. He enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his family.
He also enjoyed traveling with my mother. He was a very kind hearted, loving person. He would help you if he was able in any way.

He is preceded in death by his loving Wife of 60 years Betty Schmidt. His father, Fritz Schmidt and mother Louise Schmidt; Sisters, Evelyn Cowey, Addlee Hayes, Mary Dell Woods. Brothers, Clinton Schmidt Elton Schmidt, Elgin Schmidt, Fritz Jr. Schmidt, and Wilburn Schmidt.

He is survived by, Sister Shirley Malone, His daughter, Kimberly Hall and husband Bo Hall, son Jeffrey Schmidt. Granddaughters, Stephanie Hall, Jennifer Wright and husband Byron Wright. Great Granddaughters, Rylee Paragas and Abilyene Wright; Sisters in Law, Betty Schmidt, Judy Schmidt.

Visitation will be on June 4, 2020 from 4-8 pm. Service beginning at 6 pm. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
