Charles G Gutierrez

Charles Gutierrez, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on September 30, 2015. Charles was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Fox Tech High School before beginning his career as an Engineering Technician. He was a man of few words who none the less shared much with those he loved most.

He was surrounded by his family when he peacefully joined the Lord, only a few days short of his 50th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia Gutierrez; son Steven Gutierrez (Maricela); daughter Claudia Nicole Kerouac (Mark); brother Rudolfo Rossano; sister Raquel Vazquez (Armando); sister-in-law: Libbie Gutierrez; grandchildren Ryan, Zack, Max, and Sydney; great-grandchildren Luke and Grayson. He was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Elvira Gutierrez; and brother, Rene Gutierrez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015, 6:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels on Judson Road.

Mass will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 10:30 AM with entombment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II
