Charles "Chip" Leonard Ivey III, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on June 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born on July 17, 1959, and leaves behind a legacy of courage, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones and community.

Charles proudly served his country in the Air Force, embodying the spirit of patriotism and service throughout his life. His commitment extended beyond his military service, as he found great joy in riding his Harley Davidson and supporting fellow veterans through his involvement with the local VFW.

In addition to his passions, Charles cherished the moments spent with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Yrma Ivey, his loving daughter, Lisa Ivey, and his supportive brother, Anthony Sims. Charles's presence in their lives brought warmth, laughter, and a profound sense of strength that will be deeply missed.

Throughout his journey, Charles touched the lives of many with his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Charles's life will be held at VFW Post 4676, 202 Aviation Blvd. Universal City, TX 78148, Friday, July 26,2024 @ 3:30 p.m.
