Cleotilde "Tilla" Lopez Garza

Cleotilde “Tilla” Lopez Garza was born in Mathis, Texas on December 4, 1940 to Trinidad and Clemencia Lopez. Tilla passed away in San Antonio, Texas on August 26, 2017 surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Estevan Garza, Sr., husband, Richard C. Tobias; friend, Bobby; sister, Ramona Salazar; brothers, Refugio Lopez and Juan Lopez. She is survived by her sons, Estevan (Diana) Garza, Jr.; Reymundo (Linda) Ysmael; daughters, Maria Garza, Irma (Gerardo) Garza Escalera, Norma "Chata" (David) Alcala; sisters, Ysidra Lopez, Santos Ball, Norbeta “Bertha” Garcia, Luisa Puentes, Sara Perez; brothers, Trinidad Lopez, Jr.; The Del Bosque Family, who was raised as her siblings; twenty-one grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren. Cleotilde was a loving mother and loved unconditionally, and she was an excellent cook. Memories of her will carry on in our hearts and she will never be forgotten.
