He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Castillo Martinez; his son, Juan Jose Martinez; his daughters, Maria Leticia Martinez and Maria Del Carmen Perez; his brothers, Luis Martinez and Facundo Martinez; his sister, Simona Martinez; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
