Daniel R. Siller

Daniel R. Siller, a cherished member of his family and a respected member of the community, passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on January 3, 1935, Daniel lived a life filled with devotion to family, service to his country, and a passion for the simple pleasures of life.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic, where he developed a strong work ethic and a commitment to discipline that would endure throughout his life. Following his military service, he channeled his talents into a career that reflected his dedication and proficiency.

Daniel found joy in many activities during his retirement years. He spent countless months at his beloved home in Rockport, where he relished fishing and relaxing, embracing the tranquility that the waters provided. He was known for his love of barbequing, often gathering loved ones around a grill to share meals and moments that would become cherished memories. Daniel also enjoyed watching sports, especially golfing and football, taking delight in the shared camaraderie these events brought.

He is survived by his loving children, Deborah Cruz, Steve Siller, and Barbara Siller Casarez, alongside his grandchildren Joshua, Jared, Valerie, Steve, and Claryssa. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Dean, who were a source of immense pride and joy in his life.

Daniel was predeceased by his devoted wife, Clara Siller, whose memory remained a guiding light in his heart. He also joins his parents, Geronimo and Emila Siller, and eight siblings who passed before him, leaving behind a family rooted in love and shared memories.
