Daniel T Bruen

Bruen, Daniel Thomas USAF Maj. (ret). Born 7/10/24 in Bronx, NY and expired at Gentiva Inpatient Hospice 6/18/15 due to respiratory failure/COPD. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a B52 navigator with the 380th Bomber Group, as well as other assignments. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings, ex-wife Catherine M. Bruen, stepson Todd Kerlin and son Daniel T. Bruen, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kay Bruen, daughter Linda Bruen (Stephanie Wilhelm), daughter Susan Seidel (Leroy, Courtney and Jordin), son Daniel J. Bruen (Cyndee and Victoria) and stepdaughter Kelly Kane. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Gentiva Hospice Inpatient Unit for their kindness and compassion. Visitation will be at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels on Judson Rd. 5pm-8pm Thursday June 25th with Rosary at 6:30 pm. Funeral mass will be at St. Pius X on Harry Wurzbach Friday June 26th at 9:30 am. The burial will follow at Ft. Sam Houston will full military honors.
