David Kent Phillips of San Antonio, Texas, born on June 12, 1956 to Joseph Phillips and Bertha Mae (Williams) Phillips in Winston Salem, North Carolina breathed his last breath on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his late wife Kim Self Phillips, his mother, Bertha Mae (Williams) Phillips, father Joseph Phillips, and brothers Donnie Phillips and Michael Phillips.
David is survived by his children Davita (Thad) Brannon, Amanda (Jeff) Phillips, Krystal Phillips, and Danny (Stacey) Peoples, sisters Carolyn Morgan, Donna Davis, and Jacqueline Phillips, brother Gregory Phillips, grandchildren Cameron, Elise, Damian, Royce, Eleanor, Amelia, Ara and Brady, Brenda Foster (ex-wife) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing will be held at Puente and Son's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday September 4, 2024 from 11a-1p with the ceremony set to start at 1p. Internment will be held at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30p.
