Delia 'Lilly' Hernandez

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Delia (Lilly) Hernandez entered eternal rest on April 10, 2011 at the age of 75 surrounded by her family. She was born August 23, 1935 in New Braunfels, TX. She is preceded in death by her great-grandchildren, Devin Gonzales and Zaniah Khloe Gaytan. She is survived by her children: Abelardo and Debra Hernandez, III., Gustavo and Olga Gaytan, Eddie Hernandez, Susie Hernandez, David and Lety Hernandez. Grandchildren: Louis, Albert IV, David, Kirsten, Ashley, Megan, Desire, Brittany and Sara. Great-grandchildren: Hailee, Collin and Cassen. Her wish to be cremated was honored and a memorial service is pending.
When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that was once shared. Miss me, but let me go.
