Denise Marie Mcburney

Denise Marie Bonnet McBurney, a long time resident of San Antonio, passed away on August 9th, 2011. Born May 27th, 1922 in Paris, France, she fell in love with a native Texan and began her journey to San Antonio in 1946. She touched many peoples' lives with her love and zest for life. Proceeded in death by her husband, Henry F. McBurney and daughter, Elizabeth Marie DeLeon. She will be greatly missed by her children, Catherine Marie Eppinett, Mary Ann Green, Rose Marie Perry, Patricia Marie Norton, David Henry McBurney, Steven Phillip McBurney; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-granchildren. A special recognition goes to her son-in-law, John Perry for his many years of love, support, and care; and for her daughter-in-law's, Patricia L. McBurney & Joyce L. McBurney, foe their gentle caring for her.

Cemetery:
Following the Mass, the family and friends will be meeting at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach, 78209, for an 11:30 A.M. Graveside Service.

There will be a Funeral Mass held to celebrate Denise\\\\\\\'s life at St. Mark\\\\\\\'s Catholic Church, located at 1602 Thousand Oaks Drive, San Antonio, TX 78232 (210)494-1606, on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. A reception will follow the burial back at St. Mark\\\\\\\'s Catholic Church, in the Shalom building.
