Diana L. Reilly

Diana L. (Hutson) Reilly, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Michael Reilly; her sister Judy (Terry) Yeager; her children Chris (Kim) Reilly, Beth (Peter) Girgis, Matt (Norma) Reilly and Ben (Melissa) Reilly; and her grandchildren Gwen, Lizzy, Luke, Zach and Sawyer.

Diana was born May 28, 1947, in Glendale, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Delores A. Winters and John G. Hutson. She worked as a nurse at Reynolds Memorial and Kettering Hospitals, and later as a pre-school teacher at St. Mark’s School in San Antonio. She was an active member of St Mark’s Catholic Church. Diana volunteered at the Seton Home, the SAMM Shelter and St. Mark’s.

Diana taught by example the value of giving back to society, spirituality and appreciating the simple joys in life, which she liked to call the “God is good days.” She was a best friend, an artist, a travel companion and an inspiration for her children and grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 23 from 6-8 pm at the Puente & Sons Funeral Chapel, 14315 Judson Road, in San Antonio. Rosary devotions will be at 7pm, officiated by Monsignor Kevin Ryan.

Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in San Antonio, Tuesday, March 31, at 10:00 am, with Monsignor Kevin Ryan officiating.
