Diane Alix Hoff

Diane (Dunn) Hoff – September 15, 1944 – January 25, 2012 Mrs. Hoff passed away after a long illness culminating in pneumonia. She is survived by her loving husband, LTC Randy Everett Hoff (RET); her son, Kevin Everett Hoff, and his wife, Melanie: granddaughter, Sophia Hoff; brother-in-law, Rick Hoff, and his wife, Terry; and many extended family and friends. All family and friends will miss her dearly. Diane graduated from Davenport (Iowa) Central High School and later received a B.A. degree in Art from the University of Iowa. She was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and University of Iowa Alumni Association, San Antonio chapter. She married Randy on October 1, 1966, and followed him during his 26-year Army career around the world and in the U.S.A. During her life, she was a homemaker, grade school teacher, travel agent, and interior designer. She was active in several Presbyterian churches, including service as a Deacon and ruling Elder at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Antonio. She was president of 2 different Army Officers Wives’s Clubs and served as an officer in many others.

There will be a memorial service at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church, 16425 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78247 at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
