DiAnne was born in Omaha, NE in 1944. After graduating from Ryan High School, she attended Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI for a time before returning to Omaha to attend Creighton University. She was accepted into Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) in 1967 where she worked with kids in New York and New Hampshire for a year. After returning home to Omaha, she worked at Uta Halee and then in the medical field for many years before retiring. Her passion was always helping others, as well as being especially giving to all of her family. DiAnne was also a huge animal lover, having many fur babies throughout her life; she loved to read and do sudoku puzzles; and always took care of her plants, flowers and birds. Online shopping became her new passion after retirement.

There will be a Rosary and memorial Mass for the family on December 5, 2020, at 10:00 AM. This will be live-streamed at https://www.blessedsacrament.church/ or https://www.facebook.com/BSCCSATX.
