Domingo Eustolio Maldonado

September 25, 1957 — July 5, 2020

Science has taught us that when a doctor determines our body has ceased to function,
our life has ended. When that time arrives don’t think of it as death but rather life, allowing the memories we have made together carry on through us.

On Sunday, July 5th, 2020 at 3:18pm, Domingo E. Maldonado joined our Father in Heaven. Blessed are we to have been part of his life, having assurance...one day we will meet again.
Born September 25, 1957 to Eustolio & Florencia Maldonado in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mingo, for short, is also lovingly known as "Tolo", a nickname given to him by his older sister Sylvia as she struggled to pronounce Eustolio. Loved and treasured by those fortunate enough to have Tolo touch their lives; he is a son, partner, brother, father, grandpa, uncle, friend and confidant. Tolo impressed us all with his charm, wit, compassion, barbecue skills, hard work, ability to repair anything, and of course his handsomely good looks. The sudden and unexpected loss is hard to grasp. In shock and unreal we never imagined Tolo leaving so soon. He was strong, a fighter, and full of life. Remember his laughs, loud voice, kindness, patriotism, generosity, and willingness to extended a hand to those in need. No matter how Tolo touched your life, one thing we can all agree on is how BIG his HEART was. Tolo is preceded in death by father Eustolio Maldonado, survived by mother Florencia Maldonado, partner Dina Sanchez, sister Sylvia & Louie Montemayor, daughter Stephanie & Juan Herrera, daughter Gina White, stepchildren, grand children, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved pup Baby.
Remember Domingo, aka "Tolo" Maldonado.

Remember Me

Remember me with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you.
If you must burry something, burry my faults, my weakness and all prejudice against man.
Burry my sins and give my soul to God.
To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated,
But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon earth gazing at the beautiful stars,
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity,
Remember me.
Remember me in your heart:
Your thoughts, and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
