Dorothy Lorena Huffman Neitzey

Dorothy Lorena Huffman Neitzey was born December 8, 1923 to Henry and Leatha Huffman. Born on the Quantico Marine Base in Virginia, she started out little, only 2 pounds, but feisty, so small, the soldiers donated their handkerchiefs for her diapers and her bed was a shoebox. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Neitzey, sister Betty, brother Henry and three of her children, Tracey Copeland, Chris Neitzey, and Deborah Keepers. She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Chmelik and Leah Kenney of San Antonio, Duane Neitzey of Palmer, Alaska; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
