Duncan Perez, born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 22, 1956, passed away on January 9, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanette Perez, whom he met when she was 16 and he was 17. They married at ages 25 and 26, building a life filled with love and partnership. Duncan is also survived by his brother Robert Lariosa and wife Paula, along with their children; his Uncle Willie and Aunt Lillie Figueroa; and several cousins.
Duncan served 20 years in the Air Force, excelling in information management, postal operations, and as a Flight Simulator Technician, earning numerous awards, including the Kuwait Liberation Medal. After retiring, he dedicated another 20 years to the Alamo Colleges District in multimedia. A talented photographer, musician, and DIY enthusiast, Duncan found joy in mentoring others, serving in his church, and sharing his knowledge and humor with those around him.
Instead of flowers, donations to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation would be a meaningful way to honor Duncan’s life and his enduring spirit of service.
Duncan’s life was a testament to love, dedication, faith in Jesus Christ, and generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
