Ed A. Seurer

September 14, 1930 — January 15, 2015

Edgar (Ed) Seurer, our beloved father, passed away suddenly on Thursday,
January 15, 2015, at the age of 84. He loved his family and is survived
by 4 children: Tony Seurer (Sharon), Lynn Sawyer, Ann (Ben) Thornton and
Jean (Scott) Taylor; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and one
brother, Jonathan. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol and son David.

Ed was born September 14, 1930 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Amelia (Zander)
and Henry Seurer.

He served in the Korean War and married Carol Ann Hansan on October 9,
1954.In 1968 he joined the Papal Volunteer Missionary Movement and moved
his family to Mexico. After 4-years he relocated to San Antonio. He was
a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and was involved
in the Schoenstatt Catholic movement.He enjoyed bowling and volunteered
at the Animal Care Center (ACS).He was a loving and kind man and will be
greatly missed.

The rosary will be prayed at 6:30pm on Thursday, January 29th at Puente
& Sons Funeral Home on Judson Road, preceded by visitation.Mass of the
Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, January 30th at 11:30am
followed by burial at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery.
