Edna Alvey Blacker

Edna Alvey Blacker, 87, of San Antonio, Tx formerly of Waterbury, CT passed peacefully on December 30, 2021 at season's Alzheimer's Care and Assisted Living in San Antonio Tx.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond H. Blacker; sister Irene Sweet and her brothers John Edward Alvey, Harold Alvey, James F. Alvey, Raymond F. Alvey, and Richard James Alvey.

Edna was born on November 22, 1934, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Edward F. and Josephine (Beson) Alvey. She attended Hopeville elementary school and graduated from Wilby High School.

Edna was employed at Liggett's Pharmacy, One East Pharmacy, and Arrow Pharmacy.

Edna is survfived by her loving son, Edward J. Blacker of San Antonio, Tx, her sister Eleanor DiLorenzo of Southbury CT and numerous nieces and nephews.
