Edward John Fesler

October 17, 1934 — November 2, 2009

Edward John Fesler passed away on Nov. 2 at his home. At his bedside were his wife Helen, his brother Cecil Fesler, and his daughter Aida Wilson.

Ed leaves behind his mother Marie, 97, of Jacksonville, FL., his uncle John Imburgin of Austin, his brother Cecil and wife Anne of Jacksonville, his niece Nettie also of Fl., his daughter Aida Wilson, husband Steve and son Furio of NC, cousins Frank and John Alles of Fl., Agnes Stryker of Plano and his stepson Michael Pigott of San Antonio.

Ed was a conductor for Southern Pacific and Union Pacific railroad for 30 years. He enjoyed scuba diving, cooking, and fishing with his grandson, Furio.

He is at peace after a struggle with cancer. Special thanks go to Lifespan and Vitas Hospice of San Antonio for their loving care. He will be missed.
