Edward “Eddie Mo” Morales left this world on November 17, 2022, at the age of 71. Edward is preceded in death by his parents Andres and Josephine R. Morales; son John Jay Morales; brothers Rudy “Chico'' Morales, Andres “Buddy” Morales; granddaughter Kristina Nicole Morales; great grandchildren Kristina Noralynn Morales, and Roman Alexander Vasquez. He is survived by his wife Sandra Morales; sons Edward “Kung Fu” Morales (Rosie), Andres “Andy” Morales (Angela), Jeremiah “Bucko” Morales (Anabel); daughters Santa “Marty” Morales-Ferrari (Marcel), Kristal “Mosca” Morales, Carisa Gonzales; sisters Lupe Ramirez, Santa San Roman, Lucy Herrera (Eddie), Beatrice Trevino (Pep); grandchildren Isaac, Kristopher, Edward, Daniel, Analisa,Xsavier, Andres, Zachary, Nicholas, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Bella, Samantha, Miranda, D’Ago, Maurice, Monique; great grandchildren Gilbert, Joey, Seth, Gabriel, Aaliyah, Frankie, Carmen, Alizey, Ariel, Kristopher, Ariday, Daniel, Jovanni, Julissa, Edward, Kaycee, Juliette, Avery, Dominic, Michael; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.He was born on January 18, 1951, in Natalia, Texas, to Andres and Josephine Morales. He graduated in May of 1969 and then served in the United States Marine Corps until he was released on an honorable discharge. Edward continued serving his community after applying and being accepted into the San Antonio Fire Academy. In 1994, he earned his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate. He retired in 1999 after serving 22 years as a San Antonio FireFighter. Eddie Mo was known by his fellow firefighters as a humorous jokester yet an unyielding and brave man who never hesitated to run into the flames if it meant saving a life. During retirement, he spent time with family and friends and continued serving his community whenever possible. He will be remembered for his sarcasm and jokes, both wanted and unwanted, and his tremendous heart. Edward was an incredibly loving and devoted husband, father, uncle, and Popo. He was a friend to many. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. We would love you to come and honor his life at Puente and Sons Funeral Home
