Elaine D. Weatherford

Elaine D Weatherford born November 03. 1932 passed away August 3, 2016 at the age of 83.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ted & Alberta Benson, and her daughter Sheryl Mann, and her sister Theda Cottrell. She is survived by her husband Andrew Jack Weatherford, her children Karen M Cervantes, Daniel Weatherford, Gayla Perry, Floyd Weatherford, and her sister Shirley Hellman.
Her Grandchildren
Melissa Freisenhahn, Vanessa Valdez, Clarissa Roberts, Chester Andrew Mann, Doug Mann Jr., Ashley Perry, and Kathleen Bailey.
And her Great Grandkids Dakota Valdez, Dillon Valdez, Jake Valdez, Mathew Valdez, Kinzie Valdez, Raegan Roberts.

Elaine Weatherford loved her life as a housewife, mother, daughter, sister and gossip buddy. She was a great short-order cook. The guys would call and say they would be home to eat in an hour, and she would whip up a delicious hot lunch. She made some of the best fried chicken ever.
Elaine loved to make any day a special day. She loved fishing at the coast with the guys, or just walking along the beach with her sisters. She loved babysitting her young grandkids, and she loved being friends with her older grandkids. They might whip up some old-fashioned popcorn and watch movies together at home.
There were many occasions to break up her routine. Elaine loved to have all the family and friends over for a big barbecue, which usually included a fair amount of beer. She and Jack helped to prepare and serve fresh barbecue and fixings at the RAMS meetings on the south side of town. Christmas was always special at Jack and Elaine's house, along with all the traditional foods she and her sisters and daughters would prepare. When the guys were away hunting or fishing, Elaine and her sisters loved to go dancing. She loved to jitterbug. Jack and Elaine loved to fly to Vegas and stay at the Lady Luck. It was just small enough so that Elaine felt comfortable there. She really made the most of her life.
