May 13, 1944 — May 25, 2015

Elizabeth P. Salazar born May 13, 1944 went home to be with the Lord on May 25th, 2015 and has now been reunited with her husband of forty years, Mr. George Salazar. Elizabeth was an avid fisherman and enjoyed casting her line out at Rockport, Texas. Along with her love of fishing she had a big heart for animals, small and large. Her children and grandchildren will tell you that she was very devoted to them and they brought much joy to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Celia Contreras; her brother, Cipriano Contreras; her sisters, Tina Marispini and Josie Medina. She is survived by her sons, Martin (Christi) Salazar and George (Carla) A. Salazar; her daughter, Lisa P. Salazar; her brother, Manuel Portillo; her sisters, Socorro Zapata and Matilda Saenz; her beloved grandchildren, Hannah Santino, Marisa Salazar, Jude Salazar, George Salazar and Joseph Salazar; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She will be missed and in our hearts forever.
