Enrique “Henry” Travieso

Enrique “Henry” Travieso passed away on December 15, 2011 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his parents Ignacio Travieso and Maria Estela (Martinez) Travieso. He is survived by his wife Areli E. Travieso of San Antonio, TX. Daughters Patricia A. Travieso Highwood, Elisa Travieso Garcia (Luis), and Deborah E. Travieso. Grandchildren, Sean Henry, Brittany and Breanna Highwood; Jacqueline, Jason, Alexandra Garcia; his sister Norma Travieso Medina (David) and his nieces Marisa Medina Taylor (Jeremy), Dyan Medina Gibbens (Jeffrey) and son Trey; Valerie Medina Jisa (Wendell). Henry was a direct descendent of the Canary Island settlers who established San Antonio in 1731. Henry loved serving his country and community. He was in the US Marine Corps. (Reserves), and served as Director of Market Square in the late 70s to early 80s. He then went on to serve with the Bexar County Sheriffs’ Office as a Jail Support Services Manager.
