Ernest Hernandez

Ernest or as his friends called him “Ernie” was born December 19, 1961 in San Antonio, Texas and passed from this life on September 15, 2019 at the age of 57 years. Ernest is preceded in death by his son, Robert Hernandez; sister, Mary; and stepfather, Isidro Martinez. Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Rachel; his son, Daniel (13); his beloved mother, Alice; his sisters, Irma and husband Leonard Naranjo, Janie and her husband Ruben Martinez, Mary and her daughter Hannah Hernandez; brother, Sid Jr and his sons, Matthew and Jonathan Hernandez; nephew, Sergio Hernandez. Ernest had a very huge heart and would do anything for anyone whether he knew you or not. Ernest met God two years ago and since then God has been in his life. Ernest loved and cherished his wife, son, mother, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, his other relatives and dear friends. He was a Green Bay Packers Super Fan. He was full of life, always on the go and he loved to cook. Tamales was his big thing every year. He was also known as “The Chef”. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
